During her internship with the Juvenile Division of the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office, Anne worked with young adults facing consequences for violations ranging from infractions to serious felonies. She served as a Deputy Public Defender in Sacramento, Placer, and Solano Counties. Anne developed case strategies and structured investigation plans to achieve the best results for her clients in jury trials and in negotiating favorable case settlements. She also had the rewarding experience of working with her family in private practice at Maas Law Offices, a firm that provides fierce criminal defense representation and compassionate guidance to their clients.
Anne graduated from John F. Kennedy School of Law in 2002 and is licensed to practice law in California. She earned an undergraduate degree from CSU Sacramento in Social Work and became a certified domestic violence and sexual assault victim counselor through WEAVE. Anne is passionate about helping those in need and has dedicated her career to serving individuals, communities, and organizations.
