Before joining Van Dermyden Maddux Law Corporation, Lindsay practiced education law where she advised public schools and charter schools in all matters related to education, including special education disputes, business and facilities and real estate transactions, and employee discipline actions. Lindsay began her career at one of the largest firms in California, which specializes in the defense of California Workers’ Compensation claims and related matters on behalf of employers throughout the state.
During law school, Lindsay was a law clerk for the California Board of Equalization, Taxpayers Assistance Program, the California State Department of Personnel Administration and for a Sacramento firm specializing in medical malpractice defense. Prior to earning her law degree, Lindsay was employed as a paralegal at firms in the Bay Area and Sacramento, where she specialized in toxic torts, construction defect claims, labor and employment, and personal injury matters.
Lindsay is licensed to practice law in California. She earned her Juris Doctor at the McGeorge School of Law. She graduated, cum laude, from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Politics and a Minor in Legal Studies. During college, she served as an intern with California Senator Jackie Speier in her San Francisco office.
