Prior to joining Van Dermyden Maddux Law Corporation, Linh began her career practicing workers’ compensation law with a Sacramento-based firm. She represented public and private employers throughout California, providing legal advice on a wide-range of workers’ compensation issues. She also represented her clients’ interests in various administrative proceedings, including mandatory settlement conferences and trials, before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
During law school, Linh explored various legal fields through numerous externships. She was introduced to criminal law as a judicial extern for the Honorable Samuel Feng in San Francisco and as a legal extern at the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office. She later became acquainted with employment law as an extern at the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, where she investigated workplace discrimination and retaliation claims, and also helped prepare trainings regarding workplace harassment and discrimination. While at UC Davis, Linh also worked as a research assistant for Professor Donna Shestowsky, researching issues in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Linh is licensed to practice law in California. She graduated from UC Davis School of Law in 2016 and received her dual Bachelors of Arts from UC Davis.
