Aman is an Attorney Investigator with Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation. She has conducted workplace investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, bullying, and the like.

Aman’s past practice consists of all areas of labor and employment law, including litigation (taking and defending depositions, drafting and analyzing discovery, responding to discovery requests, and other law and motion work), document preparation, webinars regarding employment law updates, sexual harassment trainings for employees and managers, DFEH complaints, EEOC complaints, client counseling, multi-state research and advice work, Labor Commissioner hearings and conferences, Workers’ Compensation defense, unemployment insurance hearings, and other areas of labor and employment law.

Additionally, Aman has conducted workplace investigations regarding a number of sensitive topics including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, bullying, and the like.  This includes investigations involving one allegation and those involving several allegations with multiple complainants and respondents.

Aman graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2017, where she graduated Order of the Coif, with great distinction.  While at McGeorge, Aman was on the Moot Court Honors Board, and enjoyed participating in Moot Court competitions across the country.  In addition to this, Aman was named the Top Oral Advocate out of the entire second-year class during her second year of law school.  Aman was also named the Witkin Award Winner for receiving the highest grade in several of her classes during her time at McGeorge.

In addition to working as an employment attorney, Aman is an Adjunct Professor of Law at McGeorge, where she teaches Global Lawyering Skills III, a class that focuses on teaching second year law students persuasive writing and how to engage in oral argument.
