Prior to joining the Firm in early 2014, Mary Ann held positions as a Clinical Scientist and Laboratory Supervisor in a private medical laboratory for ten years, founded and ran a successful freelance proofreading/copy-editing service, and raised two children.  At the Firm, she uses her attention to detail and love of the written word to put the final touches on investigative reports, correspondence, employee handbooks, surveys, and anything else that lands on her desk. Mary Ann finds workplace investigations to be an enlightening, though sometimes sad, look into the ramifications of being human and the struggles we face.

 Mary Ann is a native of Northern California, and loves long road trips up and down the state.  In her spare time, she writes both fiction and nonfiction, works her way through a reading list of several hundred books, and spends as much time as she can with her two sons and a pair of rescue cats.
