Olivia Totten

Olivia is a Law Clerk with Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation.
Olivia is a third-year law student at the University of San Diego School of Law, where she serves as an Articles Editor of the Journal of Climate and Energy Law and co-chair of the Name and Gender-Marker Change Clinic. Olivia previously interned at the Workers’ Rights Clinic. She assessed claims of discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment, and represented a client in an Unemployment Insurance Appeal Hearing. Olivia also completed a judicial externship at Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Previously, Olivia worked as a law clerk at an insurance defense firm. She graduated from Indiana University in 2020 and spent time interning as a community organizer with various LGBTQ+ grassroot campaigns.
