About Sue Ann Van Dermyden
Sue Ann Van Dermyden, JD, AWI-CH, is a founding and senior partner of Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation. She has been an employment litigator since 1993 and has focused her practice on conducting workplace and Title IX investigations since 2006. She serves as an expert witness in employment matters, regularly conducts training seminars on employment matters, Title IX, and workplace investigations, and provides employment-related advice and counsel. Sue Ann is a founding member and Past President of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI).
About Deborah Maddux
Deborah Maddux, AWI-CH, is a founding partner of Van Dermyden Makus Law Corporation whose practice focuses on conducting workplace and Title IX campus investigations, expert witness work, workplace training for employees and supervisors, and conflict resolution training. She is a trained mediator and Title IX hearing officer, a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, and a certified EEOC investigator. She regularly handles investigations involving the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act, the Firefighters Procedural Bill of Rights, and Internal Affairs.
